Great run along the Maribynong River in cloudy conditions. Tail wind on the way home was welcome. Equal long distance that I have ever run. Taking Hal's advice to train like I will run the marathon, I had an Endura Gel before the run and at the 60 minute mark. Had a cold bath after the run as part of my recovery strategy much to the amusement of my son. No leg soreness to report as a consequence.
Looking forward to next weeks 16km milestone.
