Though a step back week, the midweek mileage progression continues. Now that the midweek miles are increasing I’ve decided to run from home to the Maribyrnong River rather than adding extra laps of Cruickshank Park. Despite the early start of 6am, it was balmy 17C after the warmest August night in Melbourne on record. It was so warm that I ran In a singlet which make a contrast to the last few months of gloves and beanie at this time of morning.
I’ve decided to can the strength training from now on as my legs felt heavy after last night’s strength training session.
